01 Overview #

a solid overall build with fluid progression through the leveling phase and endgame, lightning paladin will have you blasting bosses and enemy packs alike with satisfying lightning orbs of chain lightning

The Good

  • solid progression from leveling to endgame
  • gear feels impactful and rewarding
  • great damage for both ST and AOE

The Bad

  • leveling pre 40 can slow down and feel a bit grindy
  • weak mobility before endgame gear
  • can slow down in gearing at the hell>inferno progression

02 Season Changes #

not much has changed from s9 to s10 for lightning pally, which is a good thing! and while we are continuing to stack attributes, we will be adding light radius stacking to enhance our attributes even further. update! - the spell tag has been added to lightning fury giving new options in the incarnation tree pathing.

04 Stats, Sockets & Stars #

Attributes

when you get res capped with approx. 5k+ life, you can swap to all int for your attributes, and as you stack attributes (approx. 600-800) you can swap to str to gain further damage and survivability through the incarnation tree.

Star levels

When you start getting multiples of your S-tier Satanics, it might be time to attempt some star leveling. Star leveling S-tier Satanics requires Destiny Shards — used at the crafting bench, each shard has a chance to:
62%Upgrade by 1 star
26%Downgrade
12%Corrupt — all stars removed
Each star increases the stats of an item, including orange-text abilities and bonuses. It can also increase +Skill rolls that are NOT +All Skills — so +Elemental or +Physical skills can be scaled this way.

This can be done to SS-tier items too, but it requires higher-tier materials — not suggested until you have established yourself.
