01 Overview #

S10 - will most likely one of the best farming classes in s10, the nerfs hit it quite hard in the late game scaling, but before that it's a giga blasting class.

The Good

  • Screen wide clear
  • Giga fast
  • Can also boss
  • You lean into HP for damage making you tanky

The Bad

  • Late game scaling
  • Requires quite a lot of hero levels
  • Gear is generally expensive to get going

02 Season Changes #

The end game scaling got chopped hard in the patch notes, adding a diminishing return to levels in "Skinwalker", you will no longer have bascially all of your damage coming from HP.
Mealstrom got the explosion tags removed from the big nodes, this now means we can no longer double dip with items like "Void Bomba" and the "Detenator set"
Storm Hawk got changed from a static 75% attack speed to starting at 25% and gaining 1% attack speed per level, meaning we will now in the late game benefit more from higher levels in storm hawk.
Leaping charge (our movement ability) took a 50% nerf to the jump length, not the end of the world.
Carrion worm hp% node took a 50% nerf also so instead of 150% life at 10 stacks you now gain 75%.

Star levels

When you start getting multiples of your S-tier Satanics, it might be time to attempt some star leveling. Star leveling S-tier Satanics requires Destiny Shards — used at the crafting bench, each shard has a chance to:
62%Upgrade by 1 star
26%Downgrade
12%Corrupt — all stars removed
Each star increases the stats of an item, including orange-text abilities and bonuses. It can also increase +Skill rolls that are NOT +All Skills — so +Elemental or +Physical skills can be scaled this way.

This can be done to SS-tier items too, but it requires higher-tier materials — not suggested until you have established yourself.

05 Leveling 1–100 #

Use roots as main skill, take a point into carrion worm and then a point into wendigo rest into roots

06 Level 100+ Skill Trees #

This is now the physical swap where you will only use this one spec for single target and clearing.
You want to be in Hawk form 100% of the time.
Mealstrom is your main clearing ability.
Wounding paw combo'd with hawk form is your single target / finish odd enemies.
Leaping charge is your movement skill.
Remember to pop your carrion worm and spirit to get the crazy buffs from it.

09 Mercenary #


This is an alternative Aura and MF hybrid for farming while also increasing damage and survivability using Crown of Doom and Pearlescence for extra magic damage.
