01 Overview & Season 10 #

Marauder can be a slow start but it definitely picks up after getting some gear. 
If you like spinning huge metal spiked balls, this is the class for you.

The Good

02 Season 10 Changes #

We did get nerfs for both Bombardment - ICBM and Crazy grapple but still very smooth leveling after 15

03 Loot Filters #

These filters were made during season 9
Make sure you uncheck lower quality items as you fill out gear slots and go through levels.

  • ResistancesResist cap is 75%, aim to get as close to it as possible.

Star levels

When you start getting multiples of your S-tier Satanics, it might be time to attempt some star leveling. Star leveling S-tier Satanics requires Destiny Shards — used at the crafting bench, each shard has a chance to:
62%Upgrade by 1 star
26%Downgrade
12%Corrupt — all stars removed
Each star increases the stats of an item, including orange-text abilities and bonuses. It can also increase +Skill rolls that are NOT +All Skills — so +Elemental or +Physical skills can be scaled this way.

This can be done to SS-tier items too, but it requires higher-tier materials — not suggested until you have established yourself.

05 Leveling 1–100 #

Leveling as a fire caster you will want to split you attributes between VIT and INT.

Early levels as bouncing grenade. Bouncing grenade has got a considerable upgrade and now much easier to use.

06 Level 100+ Skill Trees #

This is the main skill tree you will be using for heavy ball in the endgame.

You can use Bo-om or Bombardment at fresh 100 as the tree is the same.  You can move points from Flail mastery to Resilient Gladiator if you are not using a Mace

07 Incarnation Tree #

We will focus on much of the caster good stuff and stick to buffing AoE size mostly though gear. We have a lot of deviation points we can get for early res or movement speed or Fast cast. Also feel free to swing by and get  Mage Guard and life nodes to sure up your defenses

We avoid taking Mana Infused Hourglass because it causes too much lag and occasionally a bug where your flame trails do not despawn.

08 Gear #

This will cover the steps you will go through gearing. Gear pieces will have alternatives. 
Some of these items may be really cheap or you will find them during leveling.

Look to get these as you make your way through the acts.
Anything with fire skills, all skills, explosion skills will help.

For charms look for life, fire skill damage, resists.
