01 Overview #
StormWeaver in Season 10 is still easily one of the best casters with some of the most robust kits available. Having a teleport is still a good mobility advantage and being able to seamlessly transition between different builds and have variable options is great. StormCloud and Stormbolt make for an easy experience in the early and mid game while Lightning Surge still remains to be a potential powerhouse late game with high-end items. Either build is viable and totally possible to take to the highest parts of the game.
The mobility hit does feel bad but I still think StormWeaver is strong. We did here mention that there are Light Radius nodes potentially used for Magic Caster scaling that could be, in theory, very good. It's going to be challenging to push it as high as we used to when it was stronger with Lightning Surge constantly proccing small StormClouds under things. You can place StormCloud/Stormbolt pretty high up into the game with the correct gear and enough skill, haste, and AoE damage stacking.
The Good
- Still a very powerful caster damage wise
- Versatile build options
- New options available potentially with charged bolt
- Stormcloud & Stormbolt untouched
- Still an extremely strong caster
- Light radius nodes?
The Bad
- Lightning surge nerfed
- Charged bolt base nerfed
- Teleport nerfed hard to a charge system
- Top-end caster FCR and Skill Haste has diminishing returns
- No built in defenses
02 Season Changes #
Also the teleport nerf obviously hurts our mobility significantly so we'll have to work around that by gaining more movement speed for when we're out of teleport charges as we will most likely run out of them quickly once we get high cast speed. Overall however, StormCloud and Stormbolt seem untouched, meaning our mid and early power is still the same, an absolute monster. Our late game power is yet to be seen but should be still viable enough.
03 Loot Filters #
What I'll offer below is a low-level filter and then a generic trade filter that I use at the higher end. Please be aware that the trade filter will hide many things and is mostly a high-end filter, one designed for people that kind of know what they're doing or what they're getting into. It is not usually for the general public but it is highly requested.
I do suggest that you learn to make your own filter. That way you can understand if you want to make modifications to mine, you are free and capable to do so. Everyone's preferences for these kinds of things are different and I am not 100% an expert on anything.
- Lightning Caster S10
This filter is a starter filter for the StormWeaver class or Lightning casters in general, built to be more wide net and catch a wide array of useful items throughout the campaign

- % Magic Skill DamageThis scales all elemental or magic spell damage.
- + All SkillsExtremely valuable because it also levels passives that do not have the lightning tag.
- + Lightning SkillsThis is plus to all your lightning skills and increases your damage and sometimes utility.
- % Skill HasteThis lowers the cooldown on your spells and makes storm cloud quicker to come off cooldown to use.
- % Faster Cast RateThis increases the cast speed of your spells, making your teleport and your damaging cast spells come out faster, like storm bolt or charge bolt or lightning surge.
- Flat Lightning Skill DamageThis adds a flat lightning damage value to your spells. Be sure that it says Skill Damage.
- Flat Life & % LifeThis helps keep you alive, which is very important as you have no built-in defenses.
05 Leveling 1–100 #
Charge bolts are just flat out the easiest thing to level with and there's really not an ideal alternative. Storm bolt just isn't as simple and straightforward and every five levels we gain three more projectiles to charge bolts, giving us better coverage. Pulsing Charge is an immediate pick up at level 8.

06 Level 100+ Skill Trees #
This is probably the most effective early level 100 farming build. It easily clears pretty much all early content with little to no gear needed and is massively buffed as you get more points in the incarnation tree. It usually can handle most bosses but when you are low gear I suggest switching to the StormCloud single target tree for even more damage as bosses have a lot of health in hell when you don't have gear.

08 Gear #
This is the kind of gear you want to be looking for when you are first finishing the campaign and starting to step towards nightmare and hell farming. This is your "I'm pushing towards hell difficulty" kind of gear. Most of these items should be relatively easy to find and there are many runeword alternatives. However I do not like to always include runewords in the actual inventory and will only include them as alternatives as I do not think they are a guaranteed thing. While they may be easier to farm at times, I prefer this methodology of showing you what the ideal satanic items are. The flasks and relics will remain the same. Obviously you will not have them maxed out or have these flasks right away. These are the flasks that you are going to be aiming for all the way towards the super late game when you replace them with some much rarer more expensive ones. The relics are also something that you can swap in and out this season so feel free to experiment with things that you like more than this.

10 Community & Useful Links #
- Hero Siege Helper This is a great resource with a lot of up-to-date information and the closest thing to a wiki the game has.
- Graxy's Item Finder Interactive Map Amazing website that lets you hover over zones and bosses and look up items and where they drop and easily figure out the best place to farm
- Hero Siege Official Discord The official discord for the game, where you can find many resources including guides perhaps not covered on this website
- HSTracker This is a cool little tool that allows you to track all of the stats that are happening in your game, like items dropped, gold, exp per hour. It even allows you to have custom loot sounds that overwrite the normal in-game sounds as well as sliders for each rarity of drop to give you better player control over what sounds you have and what you hear or don't.
11 Changelog #
